Now that I think about it, Alex, Moshe, Marguerite, Craig and I do share a mutual acquaintance. What's more, we share a mutual love: New York. And what could be more beautiful than that. I guess we’re not really strangers...

So I’ve been experimenting with how to go about attaining that same level of excitement as wearing that cool new outfit while staying true to my morals and what is important to me. Here’s where I’ve landed so far—

Anyway, I was just popping in here to check in. In so many ways it feels like time is zooming by, seasons are zooming by [but like actually], and the end of the year is quickly approaching. But all that being said, I couldn’t be more grateful that I get to return home here, in my tiny yet cozy apartment in NYC.

We move through New York like there’s always something new to do, see, visit [because hey, it’s New York, and there is!] That’s what lead us on this trip to Central Park one Saturday.

Does this dress not just scream summer to you? So of course, it made its appearance in the Dominican Republic and I was just so happy. Can you tell I love a dress with a good twirl?

So, I have to thank all of you- for reading, subscribing, commenting, liking-all of the things. You all not only make this way more fun and fulfilling, but you make me, this blog, this space, feel validated, and for that I’m forever grateful.

Books and bad habits aside, I’m taking this time to slow down and rest up. I plan to spend the day with great friends [as all of my family is back East.] I hope wherever you are that you spend the day with great company.

Today, leave a little sparkle turns 1. [Can you believe it? I surely cannot.] One year ago today I published my first post- hello world- and never would I have imagined that leave a little sparkle would come this far.

I wonder where i’ll be this time next year. Maybe still in San Francisco? Or maybe, if the stars align, living abroad in some fabulous city and on another weekend trip with a different group of fabulous friends in, let’s say Paris [because Paris is fabulous.]
