Yesterday I told a dear friend of mine that today would mark the 2 year anniversary for leave a little sparkle, and she couldn’t believe it. She remembers me talking about starting my blog like it was yesterday, when we were two students on Penn’s campus. For me, it doesn’t exactly feel like yesterday, but it surely doesn’t feel like 2 years [say what?] Isn’t it funny how that works? I quite literally remember telling my friends I wanted to start a blog with absolutely no idea how I would do it.

Since our first anniversary, you have seen me push my creative boundaries [still can’t get over those photos, thank you Q], team up with Le Tote [my favorite post is full circle-perhaps that’s symbolic?], and launch a new column real talk, where I try to be as open and honest with you between the glamour shots.

The past year has not only been a year of growth for this space but a year of growth for me as a person [trust me, that’s a whole other blog post]. It has surely affirmed why creating this sparkly corner of the internet is essential for me. Loads has been changing for me [again, whole other blog post], but one thing that remains true is that I love creating for this space, and I love connecting with you all.

So, I have to thank all of you- for reading, subscribing, commenting, liking-all of the things. You all not only make this way more fun and fulfilling, but you make me, this blog, this space, feel validated, and for that I’m forever grateful. It’s what keeps me creating week after week [or, honestly, weeks after weeks, most recently]. I am so very excited for the journey that lies ahead [I have some exciting news coming up, follow along on Instagram so you don't miss it]- I can’t wait to share it with you.
